7 days · Kenya's greatest wildlife circuit in one unforgettable week — the Maasai Mara's Big Five, the flamingo lakes of the Rift Valley, and the elephants of Amboseli beneath Mount Kilimanjaro.
Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Maasai Mara. Depart Nairobi after breakfast for a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley (approx 5–6 hrs). Arrive at the Maasai Mara in time for an afternoon game drive as the light softens — your first chance to spot lions, elephants, and giraffe.
Day 2: Maasai Mara. A full day in Kenya's most famous reserve with morning and afternoon game drives. In season (July–October), witness the Great Migration and dramatic river crossings. Optional visit to a Maasai village to meet the local community.
Day 3: Maasai Mara to Lake Nakuru. Morning game drive, then journey to Lake Nakuru National Park. Famous for its flamingos and as a rhino sanctuary — a strong chance to see both black and white rhino, plus tree-climbing lions.
Day 4: Lake Nakuru to Lake Naivasha. Explore more of Nakuru in the morning, then transfer to Lake Naivasha. Optional boat ride among hippos and birdlife, or a walking safari at nearby Crescent Island.
Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli. Drive south to Amboseli National Park, arriving for an afternoon game drive. Amboseli is renowned for its large elephant herds and, on clear days, breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Day 6: Amboseli. Full day exploring Amboseli with morning and afternoon game drives, framed by Africa's highest peak. Excellent opportunities for photography as elephants cross the open plains.
Day 7: Amboseli to Nairobi. Early morning game drive, then the return journey to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Trip ends.
